Register for the CA Labor Management Summer Institute, June 20-21 in San Diego
Registration is now open for the California Labor Management Initiative Summer Institute, featuring Michael Fullan and Pedro Noguera, June 20-21 in San Diego at the DoubleTree San Diego-Mission Valley.
Since its launch in 2015, the California Labor-Management Initiative (CA LMI) has provided a venue for teams of board members, administrators, and union representatives from county offices and school districts from across the state, to learn together and build trust and relationships that lead to the success of California’s schools and districts.
This two-day event is an opportunity for district and county office labor-management teams to convene over the summer with national leaders Michael Fullan and Pedro Noguera, and take part in workshops on requested topics and feature presentations by school districts that have made significant strides by making collaborative partnerships a priority over the past few years.
The Summer Institute is geared towards labor-management leadership teams consisting of the Superintendent, the teachers’ union or association leaders, the classified school employees’ union or association leader, and a school board member. Learn from other districts, share insights, and plan your work with your team for this next school year!
June 19 will be a pre-conference day for new districts and new team members from existing LMI districts.
Registration is free for up to 5 team members per attending district. Key central office or site leadership staff are welcome to attend at a cost of $150/additional person. The deadline to register is May 26.
We hope to see you there!
